The Importance of getting to those 40 points ASAP

What a contrast of away days we’ve been experienced since Saturday, A really enjoyable Fa Cup 4th Round victory at West Brom on Saturday, which I thought we fully deserved for the grit and determination we showed, despite the fact it was gifted to us in a remarkable way.

So Saturday night it was all smiles, The 5th Round Draw was the talk of the Yellow Army, who would we get was the chit chat, I quite frankly wouldn’t of minded, for someone who went to all the recent Carrow Road Cup forgettable days and nights vs Bury, Charlton, Leyton Orient and MK Dons, I think thats all covered, I was and am still quite amazed we find ourselves in the 5h Round, and the home draw we have been given against Leicester is an extra bonus, We have a really opportunity o making the Fa Cup Quarter Finals for the first time in ages.

However, Lets put the Fa Cup on hold for a while, The all important thing is that this club stays in the Barclays Premier League, for the future prospects mainly, and also the fact its a great place to be.

Last night at Sunderland was just an off day, The team didn’t deserve all that utter rubbish getting said about them on Canary Call last night, these people that Phone up couldn’t do anywhere near the job our men in Yellow do every week, nobody can perform 100% all the time, It was just a day off, Lets leave it there.

So, Facts: We are 11th in the Barclays Premier League and we are 11points clear of the Bottom 3.

That is whats important, It doesn’t matter to me if we finish 17th, I would still be delighted with that, and it would be a great achievement.

We just need to get these 40 points ASAP,

We are on 29, and I believe another 11 will be enough,

So where could we get the 11 magic points from, well I believe being realistic this is where it will happen,

Bolton Home,
Wigan Home,
Wolves Home,
Everton Home,
Blackburn Away.

5 Really big games there, all winnable, If we could get say 7 points from those minimum, maybe 1 or 2 more, that would take us to 36 points you’d say, very achievable.

You’d say we could get 1 or 2 from, Swansea Away, Stoke Away, Newcastle Away and Fulham Away, We will probably draw a couple of those and lose the other 2, We might win 1 if we’re having a good day.

So that should be enough I believe, We can’t expect anything from Man united home, Spurs Away, Man City home, Liverpool Home or Arsenal Away, We might sneak a point from those if we’re lucky, which would be fantastic.

So lets putting into perspective, We have had a great start to life in the Premier League and have a great opportunity be here again next season, Lets get behind the team each game and get ourselves over the line!

First up, Bolton at Home on Saturday!

COME ON YOU YELLOWS!!!

Well we took a giant step nearer on Saturday. Really think we’re going to do it by the Easter games at the latest. Obviously don’t count your chickens, but I believe we can do this! Good post as always mate.
