now we’re up, what do you all think about the transfers we need to survive, I think that basically, we need only one or 3 new signings, a right back in case Martin gets injured, either re-loan Pacheco or get somebody to play behind the strikers and either re-loan Lansbury or another right midfield player. Possibly a new striker but probably not

From what I’ve seen of Ruddy (about 15 games) he doesn’t seem confident and potentially error prone, maybe someone like kieran westwood? Agree with a back-up right back and playmaker, maybe someone like shane long to bolster the attack?

we have some good upcoming young goalkeepers, loan them out for experience and they’ll be fine, Rudd, Steer & Mathews could all be playing in a few years time

I think Ruddy will be OK, although it’s somewhat ironic that Green could be a Chumps player again don’t you think? We need a centre back or 2, Barnett is OK but we have shipped too many goals for us to go with the other’s we have. I reckon there will be about 8 “out’s” so maybe half a dozen “ins”????? As you say right back cover, a striker (is Chrissy good enough for the prem??) maybe & yes please can we keep Lansbury & Pacheco for a full season

I reckon Ruddy will be fine. He had a shaky start but has really come good. He is one of the best shot stoppers I have seen and he can pluck the balls out of the air with ease.
Support up front is a must have. Holt will obviously be our leader, but Jacko and Chrissy may struggle. Hopefully Jackson can keep up this new form. Our midfield is very strong and only need a little help. I reckon we will hold our own next year, especially with PL at the helm.

Oh yeah, Well Russell has been awesome this season, best right back in the Champ I would say. Barnett is a brilliant defender and I look forward to having him back and Whitbread and Ward have been fantastic though we do need to shore up a little. And Tierny looks solid but brilliant when attacking. I really think we only need to add a little more depth and we will be fine.

I think we need cover for Russell Martin Barnett & Whitbread & if we can’t get Pacheco & Lansbury on season loans cover them & that’s it ok we will have to hope we don’t get to many injuries but at least we won’t be spending money on wages that we can’t afford to pay if we get relegated just being realistic

I can see some mileage in the rumours regarding Snodgrass as he was at Livingstone and we know Lambert has been keen on past connections. Also I would suggest ,the type of player we need.

Snodgrass has got bags of skill. Once again though, a lot of teams will be going in for him. The real selling point for Norwich is that players are more likely to get first team action for us. A big money move may be nice for some footballers from the lower leagues but quite a few wont get much time on the pitch.

Thats why we have to target hungry players that actually want to play, not just sit on the bench getting a nice fat pay check.
