If or when Naughton does sign, we’re allowed to bring in more loan players… I was thinking Romelu Lukaku would be perfect. He’s not getting game time at Chelsea, but he’s a strong, pacey forward that’s got a finish on him. I think he’d be something completely different to what we already have and it’d develop his game massively as we’ve seen in the past with Wilshere and Sturridge going on loan to Bolton. Also, he wouldn’t have to be registered in the 25-man squad as he’s under 21.

The only issue I can see with a possible move for Lukaku is that his wages could be very high as he is at Chelsea but I’m sure they can afford the majority if not all of his wages.

I’d absolutely love it if Lambert got him in… any opinions?
