Interesting take on events Colky, if you’re going to win the League as Liverpool think they can you have to learn to kill a game… at 1-0 they had plenty of chances to increase that lead, but what you never do is allow the opposition the opportunity to get back in the game. Holts goal was not poor keeping, a series of passes lead up to Pilkingtons cross, all chances for Liverpool to win the ball or at least mark Holt effectively, credit where it’s due Holty buried that one, a goal that would be meat and drink for any League One striker but for Liverpool’s overpaid and overrated defence was too hot to handle.

Terrific result at Anfield, Ruddy has been solid all season, he’s always seemed a little quiet behind our back four but with confidence he’s added that to his game. Pilkington has been my pick of the new boys so far. Goal at Bolton could have been a hero at Old Trafford Two more against Swansea and an assist at Anfield. Can’t see Surman replacing him anytime soon……….

signs of a mis-spent youth Colky?

of course Colky, last time I went to Portman Rd Delia sorted my ticket (2003) and we could have filled the place then. However I feel that all the ‘Glory Boys’ who’ve been missing for so much of this season will find their way to the ground to sit in silence like they do whenever we’re in town.

Careful TY, I’m optomistic too…. even so I’ll take a hard fought 1-0…. spanking will be extra!

After the Leicester performance the other week I think we’re better set up for away games, Swansea must win, even a draw is no good for them so they’ve got to risk players getting forward….. could play right into our hands.
