I have to say that I’m more worried about PL if he has to operate without Culverhouse-but not our problem!

I agree with OTBC-a couple of cracking prospects (I’m wondering whether Martin to CP might be part of a deal for Zaha). Jutkiewicz from Coventry on a part exchange for Wilbraham could be good also,
As for CB I think PL will stick with what he’s got. I still have a feeling PL will go back in for Snodgrass.

Interesting to see reaction after the game from Morison and Pilkington ,both of whom were mortified at the result . It seems PL had really geed them up to win and Morison was particularly critical of a performance he considered not good enough.
A bit different from the Norwich of old!

Wilfred Saha (Palace)

It is interesting to compare the respective merits of Pilks and Bennett.Pilks is a more explosive player.capable of spectacular goals.He has superb balance and bodyswerve. Bennett is more probing and thoughtful and can thread a pinpoint cross through the eye of the proverbial needle.In fact he could be the next Beckham with his wicked free kicks and crosses.They complement each other perfectly.
It was a master stroke to get them both here.The persistence of Lambert and McNally to get their signatures is to be applauded.

Lets hope your judgement on Morison is as good as it was on Lambert!

I think there’s some truth in this. The answer has to be for the Club,the players and the fans to make as much fuss as possible over diabolical decisions,if we are to get a decent rub of the green . Its a sad comment on the game at present and the Premiership in particular,that a team like Norwich that plays with the right principles and attitude gets punished for it.
The implication is that cheating and sharp practice abound in the Premiership. And this is widely touted as the best league in the world.Judged on what criteria please? Mr Scudamore,please take note.
And while we’re at it,every time a cross from a set piece comes into the area there are at least two players committing offences of obstruction, shirt pulling or worse.
Why dont refs get to grips with this? The immediate imposition of a few penalties, bookings or sendings off , brooking no arguments,will soon cut it out. As fans we can all see it going on day in day out and it only gives players carte blanche to think they can do as they like and get away with it!

Presumably you are basing your assessment of these players on their performances in pre -season ? If so, don’t you think you should wait a bit?

Well said Adam.Those two lads must get fed up with speculation about getting others in. Its an important position but neither of them have let us down .Give them a chance I say.
