Another good report. I’m just waiting for Norwich to produce a really good result. tHe first half display today should have put Sunderland out of it but we seem to have to make every game as nervy as possible. Good to be picking up the points, but It feels like life could be made so much simpler if we didn’t sit so deep for such long periods. That’s what all most did for us in the second half.

Then again, the points keep coming in so I can’t really complain. I’d just like to be able to watch a Norwich match without having 3 minor heart attacks!

We still have that fight to the end spirit and I think Hughton is really getting to grips with the team, as shown by his subs. The future is starting to look a lot brighter now. If we can start hitting the net with more consistency, we’ll be safe in no time. That is only the second time this season we have scored 2 goals in a game, it’s the only real worry at the moment.

Might be interesting to have a show where every week you choose one game from each league to be your main focus, then get a fan or 2 from each club to come on and talk about their club. That way you get a fan’s perspective and throughout the season, every team gets to have their fans on. Obviously you’d get a few people with wild ideas. But I’d rather listen to fans talk about their clubs than well paid pundits who don’t know jack!

Tough day for the boys this week. They were up against a very physical West Ham! The size of their team is astounding! No wonder they play so much hoof ball! We are looking really good in our flowing passing football but just can\’t seem to put the ball in the net! It seems the better we get at the back, the worse we are upfront. Really need to get the likes of Holt and Jackson firing on all cylinders. Jackson got caught offside a few too many times today and needs to work on that because he\’d have gotten a hat-trick otherwise. I was really impressed by Surman in the first half. He looked so energetic and almost scored a lovely goal. He\’ll give Pilks a run for his money, when he is fit again. I can only hope Hughton sorts it out upfront.

I was a bit confused as to why the last sub wasn\’t used when form about 70 minutes to 85 mins the game had gone dead. We could have done with something a bit different in the middle, whether from Fox or Wes but Hughton just seemed happy to sit back. It almost played out with Kane and Snoddy having chances, but I think that is an area that Hughton needs to improve. Changing the game in that last 10 minutes is really important.

Overall, another good performance, a strong defence is clearly forming but we need to hit the net with some more of these chances! Gunna be a hard few games with Newcastle, Chelsea and Villa away and Arsenal and Liverpool at home.

Morison looked far better against Spurs. He created a lot of chances and really should have been awarded a penalty. He is a man who has his days. Holt and Jackson are clearly the favoured partnership but Morison does provide slightly more aerial threat. I admit, when he is off his game it REALLY shows, but he can still do well for us.

We looked really good against Spurs. Certainly nothing to worry about since the opening day apart from where the goals are going to come from. Need to start converting some more of these chances.
I’m getting a better feeling for the season now. After the opening day thrashing my hopes fell a little but we have looked a far better team since then and but for some poor ref decisions and some sharper finishing, we could be on 6 points by now.
It’s be nice to go a full game with out any controversy from the refs, but I doubt that’ll ever happen again.

Onwards and upwards I guess, bring on West Ham!

I have the same feelings now as when Malky was shown the door. Our ever present player who has performed in 3 leagues for us. How many players have lasted that long while a team fluctuated as Norwich did? An incredible professional who will be seriously missed. Gunna be weird knowing we wont have Mr Reliable around when we need him!
