Not good news…..great news!

I know the site as gone a bit quiet but this is a special site for Canary fans

Couldn’t believe how good he was last season. I thought he would be too slow…but he was fantastic. Wish him well at Leeds. I’m sure they’ll love him.

OK. Emotions aside, just looking at the facts: we would not be where we are without Messrs Lambert & Holt. I would like to think we would have made it back to the Championship but I doubt we would have made the Prem on our budget.

So lets be dignified.

Thank you Mr Lambert for taken us to the Promised Land.

Thank you Mr Holt for your goals.

I for one trust in McNally’s judgement. A hard-nosed businessman with an excellent sense of what is needed who at this moment in time is fighting our corner. He found the money for Holt and Lambert to come to Norwich but both will be extraordinarily difficult to replace. We may have to settle for survival next season – but we would have taken that this season.

The reason people feel so hurt is because we so easily make sporting heroes “gods” and when they let us down – as they will – it does hurt. Don’t put them on the pedestal and they can’t fall off!

If we are at our best we will win and could even keep a clean sheet. But have to be at our best else we will loose.

Too early to tell how good Vaughan & Ayala are. Both have been very highly rated by their previous clubs Everton and Liverpool. In Vaughan’s case his tendency tto get himself broken has to be a worry. They are both gambles. If they come good then like Pilks it will be very good business –if not its £3M down the drain. I don’t think PL has any choice but to take gambles – or to use his phrase “box clever” in the transfer market. They can’t all come off but Morr, Pilks, Bennett and Johnson have been brilliant signings
