Andy Carol …more like Xmas Carol ….

It truly amazes me just how Kenny Dalgleish ever rated a player that had half of a decent premiership season to his career at £35 million.

Andy Carol for Liverpool so far has been nothing short of absolute rubbish, now after witnessing such a display from Tottenham last week against us, Gareth Bale obviously stood out like a sore thumb as an immense talent.

If Carol is worth £35 million then we have a £350 million player in the shape of Bale because believe me he is 10 times a better footballer than Andy Carol!

Andy Carol was so poor at Man City this evening that the Man City fans were cheering, that’s right you read correctly, cheering not jeering every time he completed a pass.

That is embarrassing!

Makes me happy mind you, i rated Kenny as a player but as a manager he hasn’t got a clue im afraid, maybe a few years ago in the lime light of the Liverpool greatness he acquired a superb team and ran it well, but in terms of buying in the right players for a club, i’m not convinced at all.

Morrison is better than Carol! Scored more Goals, works harder and creates more space in the box. All you need from a big striker. All Carol has is a Pony tail!

if you take away the goal ratio of both Holt and Morro its the work rate alone that makes them stand out head and shoulders above Carroll! Thats the difference of the desire and hunger that Lambert looks for compared to the big wages that certain ‘big’ players have. I am being deadly serious when i say i’d rather have holt, morro or even a certain A.wilberforce upfront than that geordie plum!. Atleast we’d be safe in the knowledge our boys would keep going and going and going. like i say, its the hunger that makes a good player, not his price

Completely true. He has been given that big price so he clearly feels he has no need to work for it. Holt will chase every single ball and never give up. Morison is always running down those channels, trying to create that space. These are the kind of players you want! Not over rated, lazy lumps that would rather fall off a stool in a bar then play football.
