Encouraging to see that the Club seem fully committed to Academy development and that a decision re Grade 1 status is expected next month. We have also recruited some quality people to help the youngsters develop and signs of this are beginning to show with some promising players at under 18 and under 21 level.
Grade 1 will of course enable us to recruit from a much wider area eventually. Ironic therefore that we are being linked with a 14 yr old striker from Lincoln -presumable in the existing catchment area.He has apparently had trials with Man U and also attracting Spurs’ attention.
Does anyone else get the feeling we are moving in the right direction.?
