A Hugely Important New Year’s Weekend
Dec

2011
Welcome to my final blog of 2011. Hope you all had a Wonderful Christmas.
Lets keep reflection short, Tuesday Night we played Tottenham at Carrow Road, Tottenham turned up and did the job the whole world expected them to, dominate the game and win it comfortably.
However, The defeat is nothing to worry about from our point of view, It was a bonus game and we only lost it by 2 goals, no shame in that. We lost to a fantastic team with one world class player who was incredible, scored 2 quality goals. No worries.
We move on, and now focus on this Three Day New Year’s weekend ahead of us. Two Games, Fulham at Home tomorrow, QPR away on Monday.
Its a massive weekend, All 20 of our Barclays Premier League clubs play 2 games between today and 4th January. 6 points on offer, a chance to make real progression up the league, consolidate a position, or if you have a difficult weekend, you could slip down the table.
Two good fixtures for us, both winnable if we do our job correctly, obviously Its incredibly difficult to win two games in this League back-to-back, but honestly the two sides we are playing, the games couldn’t come at a better time.
First of all… Fulham at Carrow Road tomorrow, It doesn’t seem to be a happy camp at Craven Cottage at the moment, all sorts of stories about a fall-out between Martin Jol the manager and Bobby Zamora, a life-long dire Premier League away record, and other than Chelsea Away, terrible away followings. However, Fulham are always capable of picking up an away win when no one expects it, so you just can’t rule them out tomorrow. I trust Lambert to do what he thinks is best to try and get something out the game though.
We then celebrate the New Year on Saturday evening and our first match of 2012 takes us to London, Loftus Road on Monday afternoon to face Queens Park Rangers. A huge contest, Two newly promoted teams, both will think they can win. However, Its away, so anything we get will be a bonus.
Two big games, 6 points available, anything good happen, thats why we all love Football, for exciting weekends like this, intense, unpredictable matches.
I’m hoping we can win 1 of these 2 games, A point from each will suffice. If we picked up 4 or 6 points, that would be a brilliant weekend for us.
Happy New Year wishes to you all!

yeah a tough one darrell!
Fulham have an unpredictable streak, at home they are always a force and away you just never know!
Lets hope Dempsey has an off day as he can be very impressive.
Lets go for a Norwich 1-0 win
